Whether you choose to soak in the atmosphere of the epic rooftop or bask in the warmth of their downstairs fireplace, the family friendly Hotel Lona’s got it covered!

With live music filling the rooftop every day of the week, the only thing to lure miss 4 off the dance floor was the smell of her Spaghetti Bolognaise.

Alongside the typical spag bol, the dedicated kids menu has something for even the most discerning little tastebuds. The big “kids” menu is just as diverse - from pizza to pub classics, Hotel Lona also have a wide range of vegan options for the plant based mammas.

But wait, there’s more! Under 12s eat free Monday through Thursday (with the purchase of any main meal) so pop the chops back in the freezer and treat the fam to a midweek dinner out.

Then over at the toppings bar you can load up with fresh fruit, boba, granola, Oreos and Tim Tams, M&Ms, sour straps, gummy worms - and SO much more!

Have you ever seen a cake vending machine? This Mamma hasn't! The first cake vending machine in Victoria is situated out the front of this gorgeous pink store.

There's a new cake shop on the block - and it is DELICIOUS!

Have you ever seen a cake vending machine? This Mamma hasn't! The first cake vending machine in Victoria is situated out the front of this gorgeous pink store.

Cakeparty is predominantly a cupcake shop - also selling delicious slices like choc-caramel brownies and cheesecake cups! Extravagant milkshakes are also on offer - much to the delight of Mamma's little Miss - who just had to try a chocolate brownie shake - topped off with whipped cream and mini marshmallows! Yep - this is definitely a treat place with lots of sugar on offer!

You can also take the perfect selfie with their feature wall swing. This is a takeaway shop - with no seating - so it’s perfect for a pit stop to grab your coffee and cake to go!

A brand new Rosa Mexicano has just opened its doors in the best location. Right next to a playground and at the doors of a Village cinema, it’s the perfect spot for lunch and a play with the kids, or dinner and a movie on date night!

Decked out in vibrant colours, awesome pink booths with low-lying lamps, and a neon sign, the vibe is breezy and relaxed. The food is varied - from your original Mexican fare to a bit of a modern flair offering burgers and fries. Mamma can highly recommend the chimichanga and nachos - generous servings and delicious! There’s also a great kids menu offering cheese quesadillas, tacos, mini burritos and even fish and chips!

The cocktail list is impressive offering many different margaritas and beers from around the world. And of course, it’s hard to resist some yummy hot churros or nutella tacos for dessert!

the cupcake queens, frankston

SPECIAL NOTE = You can order online and have it delivered to your door!

They don’t call themselves the cupcake QUEENS for nothing! These are tiny morsels of pure heaven.

How good are cupcakes, right?
And if you haven’t tried one from here, where have you been?! They don’t call themselves the cupcake QUEENS for nothing! These are tiny morsels of pure heaven.
The only problem you will have at this new eat-in store in Frankston, is deciding which flavour to get - and stopping at one!
Mamma’s Little Miss takes decision making very seriously, but can never go past pink icing! The Rocky Road is a winner. Mamma’s favourite is a tie between the carrot and the white choc + raspberry; both are simply sensational.

With this awesome eat-in shop, you can now sit down and savour each bite, enjoy a side of coffee - or perhaps a milkshake - and decide which delicious flavour you will choose next time.
The Cupcake Queens also make your party a little easier with their range of large themed cakes; Unicorn Party anyone?
