The awesome outdoor area boasts a courtyard with an undercover area - complete with a sandpit, toys, and even a little cubby house! Lots of fun for the little ones.
You can also sit inside at a table or booth looking out at the train station. There’s board games and colouring options for the kids to keep their little hands busy.
They have recently added a brand new indoor play room - away from the rest of the dining area - where parents can chill at a table while the little ones can play with toys, soft-play climbing and giant Connect Four. This room is available to play on Wednedsays and Thursdays only - bookings are essential.
This is the perfect place for all-weather play and with plenty of space - both inside and out - it makes for an ideal mother’s group spot!

It truly is the most perfect way to spend a few hours with the family. If you sit outdoors, the kids are free to roam and play on the open space in the beer garden. There are some balls they can kick around or they can cartwheel to their heart’s content!
If you don’t have kids with you, take advantage of the stunning dining rooms, or the sunny deck out back.
The food is delicious and so are the cocktails! Mamma sampled a few just to make sure! The staff are super lovely and the service is great. It really is heaven!

This place is a little bit of a hidden secret. Tucked away inside JV Marine World, you will find this pancake heaven!
Delivered to your table on a platter, you can choose what flavour topping (lemon curd was Mamma’s Favourite), what flavour ice-cream (peanut butter was the crew’s fave) and little vial of ‘dust’ to top it off (choc mint is a winner).
There are loads of flavours which means there are plenty of possible combinations. Mamma will need to go back a few times to try them all - chocolate fudge is next on the list!
You don’t have to design your own, you can opt for ‘regular style’ - but why miss out on the fun? There are also savoury options if sweet isn’t your style.
The Pancake Train is only open on weekends; during the week it is a regular cafe.
A deliciously decadent way to enjoy a family brunch!
