Get ready to make Open Space at Bunjil Place your go-to summer hangout! This is Bunjil’s biggest FREE outdoor event ever! Seven glorious Saturday nights of music, cinema, culture, laughter and good vibes under the stars in the magical Community Plaza.
Picture this: you and your crew spread out your picnic rug, dinner from a tasty food truck (or packed from home), fresh air, great tunes and a whole stack of unforgettable performances. It’s all no tickets, no barriers — just show up and enjoy!
Here’s what’s in store:
🎶 Week 1 —7th February Kutcha, Cash & The Last Drinks
Kick things off with a rare collaboration between two Aussie music powerhouses, plus smooth reggae vibes and rising star Canisha.
🕷 Week 2 — 14th February Tarantula
Bring your dates and mates for ukulele grooves from the Ukulele Death Squad, then settle in for a cult sci-fi horror movie classic on the big outdoor screen — perfect Valentine’s night fun!
🎨 Week 3 —21st February Elysian Blues + Yeo
Celebrate the Year of the Horse with music, DJ beats and a spectacular lion dance, plus fun creative workshops for kids with local artist Vanessa Bong.
🕹 Week 4 — 28th February Pseudo Echo
Retro energy reigns as synth-pop legends deliver nostalgia and cool electronic sounds — great for all ages and especially pre-teen music fans.
🤠 Week 5 —7th March Andrew Swift
Get your boots ready! Golden Guitar winner Andrew Swift brings heartfelt country tunes alongside rising stars Ethan Calway and Tegan Blackstock.
🎤 Week 6 — 14th March Cookin’ On 3 Burners with Stella Angelico
Funky grooves, soul flavours and next-gen hip-hop-fusion vibes make this GRID Series South East Release Party a night to remember.
🌺 Week 7 — 21st March Wild Gloriosa & Hari Sivanesan
Finish strong with soulful sounds, South Asian rhythms, dance and a sneak peek of The Offbeat Sari gallery exhibition.
