The Australian Sand Sculpting Championship is BACK at Frankston Waterfront! This year's theme is “The Enchanted Realm”, so expect to see some fairytales, castles, majestic dragons and mythical creatures!
Over 400 tonnes of sand has been shaped, sculpted, and transformed by some of Australia’s best sand artists, and they are incredible. Last year, Mamma’s Little Miss was in awe and couldn’t believe that somebody actually sculpted these characters by hand! You can tell that there has been HOURS of work put into these.
This year there will also be Govee Immersive Light Show - see the sculptures come to life under coloured lights! Plus you can vote on your favourite sculpture!
Beyond the sculptures, there's plenty happening to keep everyone entertained, including:
Sand art and sand bottle activities
Mini golf
A giant sand pit
Food trucks
A kids’ activity booklet
Sculpture Talks
It’s a great little adventure day out! Just remember to bring a hat and sunscreen as the tables, sandpit and mini golf are uncovered.
