curry festival @ dandenong market, dandenong
The world of curry is celebrated at Dandenong Market - 1st September, 2019.
We love a chance to celebrate different cultures and cuisines - and so does the Dandenong Market. Today we joined in on the fun celebrating the deliciousness of CURRY! Working with Foodie Trails, the market was the place to be. The event space was filled with delicious food tents and trucks, with one thing in common - curry flavours. We did play it safe this year (kids spice can be a little risky) and devoured some butter chicken and plenty of skewers, while we saved the Koti Roti for ourselves. Alongside the food was a henna tattoo tent, a photo booth and a stage that was chock full of dancing and music. We simply loved joining in on the moves with the Bollywood dancers and we now have a 5 year old who wants to find a dance troop!
Mamma's special mention: There is always plenty to do, see and eat at Dandenong Market and events are always popping up at this multicultural hub. Check out what is happening HERE.
